QNE-ADK basics
QNE Application Development Kit gives developers the possibility to extend Quantum Network Explorer with new, self-written applications. In this video, we will use the command line interface (CLI) to create the necessary files that define QNE applications and experiments. We dive into the structure of these files and how the content of these files relate to what we see on the website.
Main takeaways
- Understanding the difference between an application and an experiment
- Learning the files that make up an application and an experiment
- Connecting the QNE workflow steps with application and experiment configuration
- The steps in the workflow of running an application on the QNE website is generic and the same for each application
- How the application behaves in each step is configured in the application configuration.
- The (dynamic) input and output values needed or produced for each step and which can be different for each experiment is configured in the experiment
Further Thinking
“Here we define how results are presented on the web site”
Do we describe here an application or an experiment?
