Assembling a Quantum Processor
If you have watched the suggested previous videos, then get ready for the real deal! In this video, prof. DiCarlo will show you the design of the quantum processor currently used for the approach to fault-tolerant quantum computing named Surface Code.
He will start with the architecture of the quantum hardware of the Surface-17 code and show why this new design for a quantum processor is so useful: it can easily be expanded to a larger version of surface code algorithms!.
