Stabilizer codes perform parity checks in order to detect errors. We have seen a general idea of how to detect X and Z errors. Based on this idea, how would you detect a Y-type error?

Y=iZX meaning a Y error will trigger both X and Z error detectors. In general, we’d like an error correction code such that all these errors are detected without introducing more errors into the system.
